NetSuite Records

Entity Records

Entity records in NetSuite represent a business entity that you work with.  Most commonly entity records are Customers, Vendors, Partners or Employees.  You can read more about how entity records function here.

Item Records

Item records in NetSuite represent goods or services that you buy or sell for your business.  Each item type has it's own features and functions within your NetSuite environment.  You can read more about how item record function here.

Transaction Records

Transaction records in NetSuite represent a business transaction that occurs in your day to day operations.  There are many different transaction types available and not all transaction types apply to all accounts.  Each transaction type available is dependent on the features you have enabled in NetSuite and the modules you have purchased.  You can read more about how transactions function here.

CRM Records

CRM records in Netsuite represent productivity tasks for your internal teams.  Tasks, Phone Calls and Events are common examples of CRM records that can be displayed and edited through VERSTIAL.  You can learn more about CRM records here.

Custom Records

Custom records in NetSuite are just that....CUSTOM.  They provide a way for you to capture data and support business processes that are not found with native NetSuite records.  Custom Records can be configured and customized to support almost any use case as you can define the fields, forms and objects displayed on each unique record type.  You can learn more about custom records here.

Custom Transaction Types

Custom Transaction Types in NetSuite are similar to native transactions but allow you more flexibility to customize and configure them to support your business needs.  You can learn more about custom transactions here.

Custom Elements

Text Box

The Text Box custom element allows you to add a block of text into any portal on any tab.  This text box can be used to provide more instruction to your users, or provide meaningful information about your business, products or the User Site itself.

Image

The Image custom element allows you to add an image into any portal on any tab.  First create the image using your preferred design software then publish the image to the web.  Use the publicly available URL to display the image in your User Site.

Saved Search Viewer

The Saved Search Viewer allows you to embed a NetSuite saved search into your portals.  You can also provide optional features like exporting saved search results and a dynamic search field.  The saved search viewer can support summary searches, main line searches or line level searches.

Grid Order Entry

The Grid Order Entry custom element is a unique order entry form for your users.  You are able to display your products in a grid format with customizable information like images, SKU, pricing and descriptions.  Users can quickly place orders and checkout with or without credit card payments.

Table Order Entry

The Table Order Entry custom element is a another order entry form for your customers.  With this element you can upload a diagram or schematic of your products with a related table of parts that are referenced in the diagram.  Users can quickly find the replacement parts they need an checkout with or without credit card payments.

Transform Record

The Transform Record custom element allows Users to convert transactions into other transactions while maintaining the sublist data.  For example, you can create a Vendor Bill from a Purchase Order.  All NetSuite supported transformations are available to VERSITAL.

Pay Invoices

The Pay Invoices custom element provides a list of open Invoices to your customer with the ability to pay one or multiple invoices at a time.  Payments can be made using a credit card and will leverage either Stripe or the native NetSuite payment instruments.

Embed/iFrame

The embed/iFrame custom element provides a way for you to embed other websites into your VERSITAL portal so your users can access everything they need to all in one place.

Entity Profile Management

The entity profile management custom element will allow your Customers to manage their profile.  Allow them to add or update addresses in their address book, their preferred shipping method and even add or update payment methods.

The quick links custom element allows you to add a bank of links to any web URL.  Easily configure the format, layout and destination of each link

File Download

The file download custom element allows you to share any file in your Netsuite File Cabinet with an external user safely and securely.  Once logged into Versital user can have access to download the files that you define in the configuration.
