Embed/iFrame Custom Element Configuration
The Embed/iFrame custom element can be used to embed any other website or webpage into your VERSITAL portal through an HTML iFrame. This element can be extremely useful to combine multiple systems into one portal for your customers, vendors or partners to access all the necessary information from one place.
Not all webpages support iFrames so it is up to you to ensure that it is a supported function. Furthermore, this element does not constitute an integration or SAML authentication so any login access required will still be enforced through the iFrame element.
- To use the Embed/iFrame element first open the portal you would like to update and drag the Embed/iFrame element into the workspace, from the Custom Elements tab.
- Get the URL from the webpage that you would like to be displayed and paste it into the URL field
- Define the size of the iFrame by adding the Width and Height (in pixels). If you leave the width blank it will use the maximum width of the screen.
- Once your have updated your settings accordingly, click Submit portal to save your changes.
